(1) The regulations are to prescribe standards that are to apply in relation to funded disability services providers.(2) Regulations for the purposes of subsection (1) may prescribe standards that are to apply to –(a) all funded disability services providers in respect of the design, administration and provision of specialist disability services by disability services providers; and(b) a particular kind of funded disability services provider in respect of the design, administration and provision of specialist disability services by such disability services providers.(3) Until designated standards are prescribed in regulations made under this Act, the designated standards for the purposes of this Act are to be the standards contained in Schedule 3 to the Disability Services Act 1992 as in force immediately before the commencement of this Act.
