(1) An appeal against a decision or order of the Director may be made to a magistrate by any of the following persons:(a) the applicant;(b) any person who has made a written submission to the Director relating to the subject matter of the decision or order;(c) any person required by the decision or order to do or refrain from any action;(d) any other person specified in the regulations.(2) The appeal is to be instituted within 30 days after the decision or order is made and is to be heard by way of rehearing of the application to the Director.(3) In deciding the appeal, the magistrate may (a) confirm the decision or order of the Director; or(b) vary or quash that decision or order.
