For the purposes of section 172A of the Act –

(a) an infringement offence is an offence against a provision of the Act specified in column 2 of Schedule 1 ; and

(b) the penalty specified in column 3 of Schedule 1 in relation to an infringement offence is the penalty applicable to that offence.
