MAGISTRATES COURT (CHILDREN'S DIVISION) RULES 2012 - REG 42

Legal Aid Commission to advise district registrar
The Director of Tasmania Legal Aid, as soon as practicable after receiving a copy of an order under rule 41 , must advise the district registrar in writing –
(a) if Tasmania Legal Aid allocates an Australian legal practitioner to represent the child specified in the order, the Australian legal practitioner's name and contact details; or
(b) if Tasmania Legal Aid does not allocate an Australian legal practitioner to represent the child specified in the order, the decision not to allocate an Australian legal practitioner to the child and the reasons for the decision.
