(1) The holder of a licence or permit is liable to pay to the Crown all expenses reasonably incurred by a wildlife officer in the recapture or destruction, or attempted recapture or destruction, of wildlife that (a) is kept under the authority of the licence or permit; and(b) has escaped, or has been released, from captivity contrary to a condition of the licence or permit.(2) The Crown is not liable to pay compensation in respect of escaped or released wildlife that has been destroyed in accordance with these regulations.
