(1)  In this notice –

light aircraft means –

(a) an aircraft that –

(i) is able to be transported on a light aircraft pig trailer; and

(ii) cannot be compacted, or disassembled, into parts, or components, such that the entire compacted or disassembled aircraft can be transported by use of a light vehicle other than a light aircraft pig trailer; or

(b) part of an aircraft referred to in paragraph (a) ;

light aircraft pig trailer means a pig trailer that is built and used for the purposes of transporting –

(a) a light aircraft; or

(b) equipment associated with a light aircraft;

Vehicle Operations Regulations means the Vehicle and Traffic (Vehicle Operations) Regulations 2024 .

(2)  Unless the contrary intention appears, a word or phrase that is defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 or the Vehicle Operations Regulations and used in this notice has the same meaning in this notice as defined in that Act or in those regulations.

(3)  The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this notice as if it were rules within the meaning of that Act.
