Section 97 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting "Where" and substituting "(1) Where" ;

(b) by omitting "stratum plan registered under Part XIA of the Conveyancing and Law of Property Act 1884 " from paragraph (a) and substituting "strata plan registered under the Strata Titles Act 1998 " ;

(c) by omitting "flat described on the stratum plan" and substituting "lot described on the strata plan" ;

(d) by inserting the following subsection:

(2)  Subsection (1) does not apply to a transfer made on or after the commencement of section 6 of the Corporations (Tasmania) Amendment Act 2000 .
