ELECTRICITY SAFETY ACT 2022 (NO. 32 OF 2022) - SECT 115
Entry to isolate supply for safety reasons
(1) If an electricity safety officer proposes to isolate an electricity
supply to any land or premises for safety reasons, the electricity safety
officer may, at any reasonable time, enter and remain on the land or premises
in order to isolate the electricity supply to the land or premises.
(2) If entry is refused, or obstructed, the electricity entity
may (a) if it is possible to do so, isolate the electricity supply
to the land or premises without entering the land or premises; or
(b) if it is
not possible to isolate the electricity supply to the land or premises without
entering the land or premises, obtain a warrant under section 126 to
enter the land or premises for the purpose of isolating the electricity
supply, enter the land or premises as authorised and isolate the electricity
supply.
