MAGISTRATES COURT (CRIMINAL AND GENERAL DIVISION) ACT 2019 (NO. 43 OF 2019) - SECT 32
Limitation on power of Court to admit defendant to bail
Despite anything to the contrary in this Act, the Court may not admit a
defendant to bail under this Act if the defendant – (a) has attained
the age of 17 years; and
(b) is charged with the crime of treason or murder.
