Before section 7A of the Principal Act , the following section is inserted in Division 2:7AA. Application of Part
If –the pursuing police officer may, without warrant and using no more force than is reasonably necessary for the purpose, enter the private residence or other place notwithstanding that it is not a public place.(a) a police officer reasonably believes that a person is liable to submit to a test, analysis or medical examination under this Act; and(b) the person flees from the police officer, or another person, while the police officer or other person is attempting to administer the test or analysis, or to arrange for the medical examination to be performed; and(c) the police officer, or another police officer, immediately pursues the person and the pursuit continues without interruption; and(d) during the pursuit the person enters a private residence or another place that is not a public place –
