(1)  A hospital order is an order that authorises the detention of the person to whom it relates in the institution specified in the order.

(2)  Section 66 of the Mental Health Act 1963 applies to the detention if the person's discharge from the institution is not subject to restriction within the meaning of Part IV of that Act.

(3)  Section 67 of the Mental Health Act 1963 applies to the detention if the person's discharge from the institution is subject to restriction within the meaning of Part IV of that Act.
