Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulations (5) , (6) , (7) and (8) and substituting the following subregulation:(5) A person must not take or have possession of greenlip abalone (a) the shell of which is 145 millimetres or less at its widest diameter, whether or not the shell is broken or chipped in any way, in State waters or on land other than that specified in paragraph (b) or (c) ; or(b) the shell of which is 140 millimetres or less at its widest diameter, whether or not the shell is broken or chipped in any way (i) in State waters adjacent to the west and north coasts of mainland Tasmania beginning at the mouth of the Arthur River, then west along the line of latitude 41 o 3 34 South until the junction with the line of longitude 144 o 20 East, then north along that line of longitude until the junction with the line of latitude 40 o 20 South, then east along that line of latitude until the junction with the line of longitude 146 o 49 55 East, then south along that line of longitude until Three Mile Bluff; or(ii) on any land adjacent to those waters; or(c) the shell of which is 155 millimetres or less at its widest diameter, whether or not the shell is broken or chipped in any way (i) in State waters adjacent to King Island bounded by the line of latitude 40 o 20 South in the south, the line of longitude 143 o 30 East in the east, the line of latitude 39 o 30 South in the north and the line of longitude 144 o 30 East in the east; or(ii) on any land adjacent to those waters.Penalty: Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 3 penalty.
