(1)  A person may, within 48 hours of receiving a notice of defects, appeal in writing to the Director against the notice.

(2)  On receiving an appeal, the Director may confirm, vary or cancel the notice of defects.

(3)  The Director's decision is final.

(4)  The person must comply with the final decision within 7 days.

Penalty:  Level 2.
