EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations –

(a) specify –
(i) certain offences under the Public Health Act 1997 as offences for which an infringement notice may be served; and
(ii) the penalty payable under such an infringement notice; and
(b) are made consequent on the repeal of the Public Health (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2012 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
