Proclamation under the Building Act 2000
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Building Act 2000 fix 1 July 2004 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:
21 June 2004(a) sections 4 , 5 , 23 , 24 , 50 , 224 , 231 , 232 , 236 , 237 , 238 , 242 , 252 , 253 , 254 , 255 , 256 , 257 , 262 , 263 , 264 , 266 , 267 , 268 , 270 , 271 , 272 , 273 , 274 , 275 , 276 , 277 , 280 , 281 , 282 and 283 ;(b) sections 11(3) , (4) and (5) ;(c) sections 251(2) and (3) ;(d) sections 278(1) and (2) ;(e) Divisions 3 , 4 and 5 of Part 4 ;(f) Parts 3 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 and 11 ;(g) Division 2 of Part 12 ;(h) Division 2 of Part 13 ;(i) Divisions 2 and 4 of Part 14 ;(j) Schedules 3 and 4 .
