(1)  Subject to the provisions of any Act, each registry is to be open from 9 am until 4.30 pm on every day in the year except Saturdays, Sundays and Court holidays.

(2)  The Principal Registrar may authorise a district registry to be closed for the period between 1 pm and 2 pm.
