(1)  If the amount for which a receiver is to give security does not exceed $10 000, it may be given by an undertaking.

(2)  An undertaking is to be –

(a) in accordance with the prescribed form; and

(b) executed by the receiver and each surety; and

(c) filed in the registry and kept as of record until it has been vacated.
