(1) If it is necessary or expedient for the purpose of any proceeding relating to land, the Court or a judge, at any stage of the proceeding, may order that (a) the whole or any part of the land be sold; and(b) any party in possession of the land, or in receipt of the rents and profits, deliver possession to some specified person.(2) Unless otherwise ordered, an order under subrule (1) is to require (a) that the land be sold (i) for the best available price; and(ii) for a sum not less than a reserve previously set by a judge; and(b) that all parties join in the sale and conveyance or transfer.
