(1)  The part, of the Department of State Growth, that is primarily responsible for forest policy is amalgamated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.

(2)  The part, of the Department of State Growth, known as the Forest Practices Authority is amalgamated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.

(3)  The part, of the Department of State Growth, known as Private Forests Tasmania is amalgamated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.

This order amalgamates with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania each of the following parts of the Department of State Growth:

(a) the part that is primarily responsible for forest policy;

(b) the part known as the Forest Practices Authority;

(c) the part known as Private Forests Tasmania.
