A person must not use a measuring instrument for trade in contravention of a provision of these regulations where no other penalty is provided.

Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.

These regulations make provision as part of a national scheme in respect of –

(a) the verification, re-verification and certification of measuring instruments and batch-testing glassware; and

(b) conditions of servicing licences.
