Clause 8 of the Principal Notice is rescinded and the following clause is substituted:

8.     Exemption of vehicles with road-friendly suspension

Subject to the conditions listed in clause 9 , regulations 22(1)(b) , (2) , (3) , (4) , (7)(a) and (d) of the Vehicle Operations Regulations do not apply to a person using, or causing or permitting the use of, a vehicle if the vehicle is –

(a) fitted with one or more road-friendly suspension systems; and

(b) being operated by a person who is –

(i) accredited under an approved mass management scheme; or

(ii) authorised by a person accredited under such a scheme to operate under that person's accreditation in accordance with the scheme.
