    The long title for the Bill for this Act was "A Bill for an Act to amend the Crimes Act 1958 in relation to recruiting children to engage in criminal activity, to amend the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 in relation to the hearing of proceedings, sentencing, the removal to and from, and detention of, persons at remand centres, youth residential centres and youth justice centres, and to deal with offences committed at those centres, to further provide for management of detainees and youth offenders, to provide for the increase of penalties for certain offences, to make provision in relation to information sharing, to amend the Sentencing Act 1991 and other Acts in relation to serious youth offences, to amend the Corrections Act 1986 and other Acts in relation to remand, and for other purposes."
