    (1)     In section 3(1) of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 insert the following definitions—

""authorised person" means a person referred to in Schedule 3 to the Criminal Procedure Act 2009 ;

"DPP" has the same meaning as in the Criminal Procedure Act 2009 ;".

    (2)     In section 3(1) of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 in the definition of "sentencing order"—

        (a)     in paragraph (a), after "other than" insert "an order incidental to or preparatory to the making of the order or";

        (b)     after paragraph (ab) insert —

    "(ac)     any order made under section 11 of the Sex Offenders Registration Act 2004 ; and".
