ENERGY LEGISLATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2004 (NO 91 OF 2004) - SECT 7

Offer to domestic or small business customers

    (1)     After section 35(4) of the Electricity Industry Act 2000 insert —

    "(4A)     A person who is a domestic or small business customer may accept an offer by a licensee under this section even if the person was previously a party to a contract for the supply or sale of electricity on different terms and conditions with the same licensee or another licensee.".

    (2)     In section 35(9) of the Electricity Industry Act 2000 for "31 December 2004" substitute "31 December 2007".
