HOWARD FLOREY INSTITUTE OF EXPERIMENTAL PHYSIOLOGY AND MEDICINE (REPEAL) ACT 2007 (NO. 19 OF 2007) - SECT 3

Definitions

In this Act—

"Board "means the governing body of the former body appointed by or under the Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine Act 1971 ;

"commencement day" means 1 July 2007;

"former body "means the Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine established under the Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine Act 1971 ;

"liabilities" means all liabilities, duties and obligations, whether actual, contingent or prospective;

"new body "means Howard Florey Institute ACN 124 316 310;

"property "means any legal or equitable estate or interest (whether present or future and whether vested or contingent) in real or personal property of any description;

"rights" means all rights, powers, privileges and immunities, whether actual, contingent or prospective;

"transferred employee" means an employee transferred to the new body by force of this Act.
