INFRINGEMENTS (CONSEQUENTIAL AND OTHER AMENDMENTS) ACT 2006 (NO 32 OF 2006) - SECT 90

    (1)     In section 3 of the Corrections Act 1986 , in the definition of "correctional order", after paragraph (a) insert —

    "(ab)     a community work permit within the meaning of the Infringements Act 2006 ;".

    (2)     For section 57C(1) of the Corrections Act 1986 —

        (a)     for paragraph (a) substitute —

    "(a)     who is a prisoner who is in the legal custody of the Secretary solely because he or she     failed to pay a monetary penalty or an instalment under an instalment order; or".

        (b)     in paragraph (b), omit "(i) or (a)(ii)".
