MAGISTRATES' COURT (INCREASED CIVIL JURISDICTION) ACT 2004 (NO 68 OF 2004) - SECT 1

The purpose of this Act is to amend the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 so as—

        (a)     to increase the jurisdictional limit in a civil proceeding; and

        (b)     to increase the monetary limit for referral of small claims to arbitration.
