Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) If a regional mental health and wellbeing board receives a request for advice from the Minister, the regional mental health and wellbeing board must provide that advice.
(2) A regional mental health and wellbeing board must provide advice to the Minister if it is in the regional mental health and wellbeing board's terms of reference.
(3) A regional mental health and wellbeing board may provide advice to the Minister on its own initiative.
(4) The Minister must have regard to, but is not bound by or required to act in accordance with, any advice the Minister receives from a regional mental health and wellbeing board for the purposes of making decisions that relate to matters addressed in the advice.
