MITCHAM-FRANKSTON PROJECT ACT 2004 (NO 39 OF 2004) - SECT 227

Minister may direct certain bodies to act

    (1)     The Minister, after consultation with the relevant Minister, may direct VicRoads or a Council to exercise their powers in relation to roads in a manner that enhances the integration of the Mitcham-Frankston Freeway into the Victorian road network, as specified in the direction.

    (2)     A direction under this section must be in writing.

    (3)     A body to which a direction is given under this section must comply with that direction.

    (4)     A direction under this section applies despite anything to the contrary in any other Act or law.

    (5)     In this section—

"relevant Minister" means the relevant road Minister within the meaning of the Road Management Act 2004 .
