Section 12 as amended by section 34 of the Primary Industries and Food
Legislation Amendment Act 2012 applies to a person in respect of an offence
under this Act committed by the person or, in the case of a person found not
guilty because of mental impairment, that would have been committed by the
person, before, on or after the commencement of section 34 of the Primary
Industries and Food Legislation Amendment Act 2012 .".
