A commissioner's office becomes vacant if the commissioner—
(a) resigns by writing delivered to the Governor; or
(b) becomes an insolvent under administration; or
(c) is convicted, or found guilty, of an indictable offence or an offence that, if committed in Victoria, would be an indictable offence; or
(d) nominates for election to an Australian Parliament or an Australian Local Council or becomes a member of an Australian Parliament or a councillor of an Australian Local Council; or
(e) is appointed as a judge of a Superior Court or the County Court, a magistrate, a coroner or a member of VCAT; or
(f) becomes a member of a registered political party; or
(g) becomes registered on the register of lobbyists; or
(h) becomes a represented person within the meaning of the Guardianship and Administration Act 2019 ; or
(i) is removed from office under section 57.
