Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) In section 22(6) of the Road Safety Act 1986 , for "the permit in his or her possession" substitute "the learner permit document in the person's possession".
(2) After section 22(6) of the Road Safety Act 1986 insert —
"(7) For the purposes of subsection (6), a person has a digital learner permit document in the person's possession if the person has in the person's possession an electronic device—
(a) to which the digital learner permit document has been delivered using the software application approved under section 23AA; and
(b) that is capable of displaying the person's current digital learner permit document.".
