SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR ACT 2021 (NO. 50 OF 2021) - SECT 109

    (1)     After section 44(6B) of the Victorian Inspectorate Act 2011 insert —

    "(6C)     If the Victorian Inspectorate decides to investigate a complaint referred to in section 43(11), the Victorian Inspectorate must notify the Office of the Special Investigator in writing unless the Victorian Inspectorate reasonably believes that giving notice of the investigation could prejudice the investigation of the complaint.".

    (2)     In section 44(7) of the Victorian Inspectorate Act 2011 , for "and (6B)" substitute ", (6B) and (6C)".
