CITY OF MELBOURNE (ELECTORAL) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2016 (SR NO 97 OF 2016) - REG 1

The objective of these Regulations is—

        (a)         to amend the City of Melbourne (Electoral) Regulations 2012—

              (i)     in relation to candidature at elections of the Melbourne City Council; and

              (ii)     consequent to the Local Government Amendment (Improved Governance) Act 2015 which repealed provisions relating   to the preparation of an exhibition roll and unenrolled candidates nominating in   certain circumstances; and

              (iii)     consequent to the Local Government (Electoral) Regulations 2016; and

        (b)         to make a minor amendment to the Local Government (Electoral) Regulations 2016 in relation to pre-poll declaration envelopes.
