ELECTRICITY SAFETY (EQUIPMENT EFFICIENCY) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2010 (SR NO 86 OF 2010) - REG 7

After Part 1 of the Principal Regulations insert —

" PART 1A—PRESCRIBED ENERGY EFFICIENCY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

        4A     Prescribed energy efficiency electrical equipment—supply

For the purposes of section 68(1) of the Act, the electrical equipment listed in column 2 of Schedule 1 and 2, other than the following, are prescribed—

        (a)             a refrigerating appliance that is—

              (i)     a wine storage cabinet; and

              (ii)     not labelled in the form set out in section 5 of part 2 of AS/NZS 4474.2;

        (b)         electrical equipment offered for lease or hire;

        (c)     used electrical equipment that is re-supplied to another person.

        4B     Prescribed energy efficiency electrical equipment—offer to supply

For the purposes of section 68(2) of the Act, the electrical equipment listed in column 2 of Schedule 1 and 2, other than the following, are prescribed—

        (a)     a liquid-chilling package;

        (b)     a close control unit;

        (c)             a refrigerating appliance that is—

              (i)     a wine storage cabinet; and

              (ii)     not labelled in the form set out in section 5 of part 2 of AS/NZS 4474.2;

        (d)         electrical equipment offered for lease or hire;

        (e)     used electrical equipment that is re-supplied to another person.
