MARINE (INFRINGEMENTS AMENDMENTS) REGULATIONS 2008 (SR NO 113 OF 2008) - REG 4

Schedule 13 amended

    (1)         In the Table in Schedule 13 to the Marine Regulations 1999 [1] after the heading "General Offences" before the item relating to Code 2341 insert —

"2340

Operate vessel on coastal waters more than 2 nautical miles from the shore without approved emergency position indicating radio beacon

MR r. 207

1·25 penalty units".

    (2)         In the Table in Schedule 13 to the Marine Regulations 1999, in Column 2 of the item relating to Code 2317, for "Anchor vessel in navigation channel or the area of State waters which impedes or may impede any other vessel in contravention of the Notice" substitute "Anchor vessel in a channel that is marked with beacons or buoys in contravention of the Notice".
