ROAD SAFETY (GENERAL) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2004 (SR NO 132 OF 2004) - REG 4

For the definition of "digital file" in regulation 105 of the Principal Regulations substitute

' "digital file" means a file in a digital format, or electronic copy of such a file, which is created by a control unit and contains—

        (a)     digital images; and

        (b)     data indicating the date on which, and the time and place at which, the image was captured by a camera; and

        (c)     if the digital file is relevant to an offence of exceeding a speed limit, data indicating—

              (i)     the speed limit at that time and place; and

              (ii)     the speed of the vehicle to which the digital image relates; and

        (d)     if the digital image is relevant to an offence of disobeying a traffic control signal, data indicating the length of time for which that traffic control signal had been red; and

        (e)     the checksum for that file;'.
