Victorian Numbered Regulations Victorian Numbered Regulations(1) The Corporation may send the registered operator of a vehicle a notice of renewal of registration stating that if the registration of the vehicle is not renewed on or before the date specified in the notice the registration of the vehicle will expire.
(2) If the Corporation fails to send a notice of renewal of registration for a vehicle, the failure does not affect—
(a) the expiry of the vehicle's registration; or
(b) the obligation of the registered operator of the vehicle to renew the registration of the vehicle if the operator intends to use the vehicle on a highway after the expiry of its existing registration.
