ROAD SAFETY (ROAD RULES) (COMMONWEALTH GAMES) REGULATIONS 2006 (SR NO 22 OF 2006) - REG 4

After regulation 303A of the Road Safety (Road Rules) Regulations 1999 ^[1] insert —

        '303B.     Corporation may erect traffic control items for Commonwealth Games related purposes

    (1)     The Corporation may erect, establish, display, maintain or remove a traffic control item on any road for the purposes of facilitating preparation for, the conduct of, or the management of traffic in connection with the Commonwealth Games, a Commonwealth Games Event, a Commonwealth Games Project or a Games Village Project.

    (2)     In this regulation, "Commonwealth Games", "Commonwealth Games Event", "Commonwealth Games Project" and "Games Village Project" have the same meaning as in the Commonwealth Games Arrangements Act 2001 .'.
