No. 89/1997 were made on 2 September 1997 by the Governor in Council under sections 395 and 505A of the Crimes Act 1958, No. 6231/1958 and came into operation on 2 September 1997. The Crimes (Certified Statement of Conviction) Regulations 1997 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 2 September 2007 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994). 2.
