An Act to amend the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021.
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1 1. Short title
2 This is the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Amendment Act 2021.
3 2. Commencement
4 This Act comes into operation as follows --
5 (a) sections 1 and 2 -- on the day on which this Act
6 receives the Royal Assent;
7 (b) the rest of the Act -- when the Aboriginal Cultural
8 Heritage Act 2021 section 292 comes into operation.
9 3. Act amended
10 This Act amends the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021.
11 4. Section 292 amended
12 After section 292(5) insert:

14 (6) To the extent that regulations to which this section
15 applies prescribe or provide for the determination of a
16 fee that includes an amount that is a tax, the regulations
17 may impose the tax.
