Act 2021.
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1 1. Short title
2 This is the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application (Levy)
3 Act 2021.
4 2. Commencement
5 This Act comes into operation as follows --
6 (a) sections 1 and 2 -- on the day on which this Act
7 receives the Royal Assent;
8 (b) the rest of the Act -- immediately after the Legal
9 Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2021
10 section 244 comes into operation.
11 3. Act amended
12 This Act amends the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application
13 Act 2021.
14 4. Section 244 amended
15 After section 244(8) insert:

17 (9) If this section provides, or local regulations made under
18 this section provide, for a levy, the levy is imposed.
