CO-OPERATIVES ACT 2009 (NO. 24 OF 2009) - SECT 137

137 .         Disclosure to intending shareholders in distributing co-operative

        (1)         An eligible person who intends to apply for shares in a co-operative and is not already a shareholder in the co-operative may request, from the board of the distributing co-operative, a current disclosure statement that —

            (a)         has been approved by the Registrar under section 16(5); or

            (b)         complies with section 138 and has been lodged by the co-operative with the Registrar.

        (2)         The board of the distributing co-operative is to respond to a request for a current disclosure statement within 7 days.
