CO-OPERATIVES ACT 2009 (NO. 24 OF 2009) - SECT 243

243 .         Registered office of co-operative

        (1)         A co-operative must have a registered office.

        Penalty: a fine of $2 000.

        (2)         A co-operative must, at the premises of its registered office, publicly and conspicuously display a notice stating the name of the co-operative and identifying the premises as its registered office.

        Penalty: a fine of $2 000.

        (3)         Within 28 days after changing the address of its registered office, a co-operative must give the Registrar written notice of the new address.

        Penalty: a fine of $2 000.
