Western Australian Numbered Acts Western Australian Numbered Acts (1) If the Governor
has not appointed a person under section 11 the Inspector may appoint a
person to act in the office of the Inspector in the circumstances referred to
in section 11(b) —
(a) for
not more than 4 weeks at a time; and
(b) for
not more than 6 weeks in a 12 month period.
(2) If the Inspector
appoints a person under subsection (1) and the Governor later appoints a
person under section 11 whose term of appointment is to begin before the
term of the Inspector’s appointee has ended, the term of appointment of
the Inspector’s appointee has no effect on and from the day when the
term of the Governor’s appointee begins.
