A partner of a
multi-disciplinary partnership who is not a legal practitioner does not
contravene a provision of this Act merely because —
(a) the
partner is a member of a partnership where the partnership business includes
the provision of legal services;
(b) the
partner receives any fee, gain or reward for business of the partnership that
is the business of a legal practitioner;
(c) the
partner holds out, advertises or represents himself or herself as a member of
the partnership where the partnership business includes the provision of legal
services; or
(d) the
partner shares with any other partner of the multi-disciplinary partnership
the receipts of business of the partnership that is the business of a
legal practitioner.
