If a court makes a
PBO, it comes into force —
(a) if
the related sentence is not a term of imprisonment, or is a term of
imprisonment that is suspended —
(i)
at the conclusion of the proceedings in which the PBO is
made; or
(ii)
if a later time is specified in the PBO — at
that time;
(b) if
the related sentence is a term of imprisonment that is not
suspended —
(i)
when the constrained person is released from custody in
respect of the sentence or any other sentence of imprisonment the constrained
person has to serve concurrently or cumulatively with that sentence; or
(ii)
if a later time is specified in the PBO — at
that time.
