(1) In this
section —
application means —
(a) an
application for determination of a claim for compensation under this Division;
or
(b) an
application for an order;
order means an order of an arbitrator under a
provision of this Division (including a compensation order).
(2) An application
must be made to the Registrar in accordance with this Act and the arbitration
rules and may be rejected by the Registrar if it does not comply.
(3) An application can
be made and received, and an order can be made, whether or not there is a
dispute about liability or the payment of compensation.
(4) A dispute or
application in connection with a claim for compensation under this Division
must not be the subject of conciliation and sections 331 and 332 do
not apply to the dispute or application.
