(1) An assessment of a
worker’s degree of permanent impairment may return a finding that the
worker’s condition has not stabilised to the extent required for an
assessment of the worker’s degree of permanent impairment to be made in
accordance with the Permanent Impairment Guidelines.
(2) The Permanent
Impairment Guidelines may provide for circumstances in which an assessment of
a worker’s degree of permanent impairment must be made even though the
worker’s condition has not stabilised.
