(1) An application for
conciliation cannot be accepted by the Director unless the Director is
satisfied that it relates to a dispute.
(2) The conciliation
rules may —
(a)
impose requirements that must be satisfied before an application for
conciliation can be accepted; and
(b)
specify grounds on which, or circumstances in which, an application for
conciliation must or may be rejected.
(3) The onus is on the
applicant to satisfy the Director as to any matter that is relevant to the
acceptance or rejection of an application for conciliation.
(4) Conciliation
commences when an application for conciliation is accepted by the Director.
